What can I tell you about Brittany?
Brittany started with us in 2011 and has had numerous roles at Zebra Speech over the years. She has worked on the treatment side of things, the insurance side, patient relations side, and even has worked with our audit team.
Not enough? Well, Brittany has also painted walls, cleaned offices, decorated treatment rooms, taught American Sign Language, tutored, and various other enrichment programs at Zebra Speech, in addition to being a Speech-Language Pathologist.
More? OK, she is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), she trained in both the Lindamood-Bell and Orton-Gillingham programs, she was a middle school teacher at the first Montessori (AMS-certified) public school in the US, she is published, has worked as a sign language interpreter, and has labored for years with Dr. Gillis to develop over a dozen courses and enrichment programs for parents, children, and other professionals.
More still? Alright, Brittany is also a happily married mother of 3, a 2nd degree black belt, certified yoga instructor, has 2 bachelor’s degrees (Sign-Language Interpreting and Linguistics), a master’s degree in Education from… Harvard, oh and for good measure, she also has a second master’s degree in, you guessed it, Speech-Language Pathology.
The wild thing is, we left out a lot of her awards, certifications, and accomplishments. This was really just the cliff notes for her first 30 years on the planet. Is this a good time to insert, O.M.G.?! Probably, but we are just grateful she is here at Zebra Speech!
